When the U.S. Army’s III Corps sought to modernize how senior commanders visualize and act on operational data, FedTec was selected to design a next-generation Command Decision Intelligence Platform within the Army Vantage ecosystem — the U.S. Army’s enterprise data platform powered by Palantir Foundry. The goal was to provide leadership with a real-time, unified view of global operations, logistics, personnel, and readiness — turning data into actionable intelligence at command speed.
Working within this secure, cloud-based environment, FedTec integrated hundreds of legacy systems into a single data lakehouse architecture, enabling advanced analytics, predictive insights, and seamless visualization through interactive dashboards. Built using Palantir Foundry’s fusion and governance framework, the solution ensured data integrity across classification levels while allowing users to drill from strategic overviews down to unit-level details.
The platform automated workflows for training approvals, mission planning, and casualty tracking — eliminating manual coordination and enabling real-time collaboration across divisions and supporting commands. Commanders could now monitor readiness levels, resource utilization, and risk indicators with unprecedented accuracy and decision velocity, dramatically improving how operations were managed and executed.
The success of this initiative set a new benchmark for digital command environments across the U.S. Army. Its architecture and lessons are directly transferable to India’s modernization objectives under Integrated Theatre Commands and Digital Army initiatives — empowering commanders to make faster, data-driven decisions through sovereign, secure, and fully interoperable digital ecosystems.
